I'm Lucas, a fullstack developer based in Haslev, Denmark. By day, I build and maintain production applications with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView — systems that need to stay fast, reliable, and easy to reason about at scale.
Havenkvist Tech is my evening and weekend project — a freelance software consultancy where I take on everything from small bug fixes and ongoing development of existing systems to entirely new, custom-built solutions. Whether you need a quick fix for a specific problem or want to build something from the ground up, you can hire me for the job.
Splitting my time between two ecosystems keeps me sharp. The discipline and simplicity I value in Elixir shapes how I write React — predictable state, clear data flow, and code that won't surprise you six months from now.
When I'm not at my day job or working on client projects, you'll usually find me refining this very site, reading up on software architecture, or experimenting with new technologies.
